Projects

Working Not Working's (Un)Happiness Survey

Alongside other creatives, I worked with Working Not Working to write copy for the results of their (UN)Happiness Survey, a landing page dedicated to giving voice to how working Creatives are feeling, real-time, in their jobs. Working Not Working is known for its distinct tone that blends wry humor with authenticity, and the (Un)Happiness survey page is no exception. The goal was to speak candidly about the frustrations and challenges that come with being a professional Creative working today—whether it’s burnout, feeling undervalued, or just the general chaos of the freelance life—while still providing a sense of hope and forward-thinking for companies looking to support their Creative employees, I helped craft copy that addressed the struggles Creatives face in the workplace in a way that felt honest but not overly cynical. By using a conversational tone, playful language, and plenty of real-world examples and source material links, we aimed to turn a typically negative concept—unhappiness—into something that felt empowering and unifying, making users feel seen and supported and provide a possible solution in Working Not Working's new product, NTRNL (pronounced internal). With the launch of the landing page, I also crafted the email marketing strategy and copy to support the content marketing plan. See More

Winning Digital Customers | The Podcast

I worked with FROM.digital to produce Winning Digital Customers | The Podcast, a show that explores the evolving strategies, tools, and insights businesses need to succeed in the digital world. With a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and digital transformation, the podcast brings together expert voices from across industries to share real-world experiences and actionable advice. My role in this project was to oversee the end-to-end production process, from planning to editing to managing content and publishing each episode. This included coordinating with guests, preparing for recording sessions, and ensuring the final podcast’s content aligned with the needs and interests of the audience—business owners, marketers, and digital leaders looking to enhance their customer relationships in a rapidly changing digital landscape. I worked closely with the host (agency CEO Howard Tiersky) to define the show’s structure and tone. The goal was to deliver practical, engaging, and educational content that addressed the challenges businesses face in the digital space while maintaining a conversational and approachable tone. As part of the production process, I also contributed to the overall content strategy, helping to identify and reach out to potential guests who could provide valuable insights. In addition to the creative side of the production, I managed logistics, ensuring smooth communication with guests, and oversaw the technical aspects of the recording, editing, and sound design. I worked with audio and video editors to ensure each episode was polished, clear, and professional while aiming for a seamless listener experience. The Winning Digital Customers Podcast not only serves as a valuable resource for businesses but also builds a community of digital leaders eager to share knowledge, learn from one another, and stay ahead of the curve in a constantly evolving digital world.See More

Love Your Life Magazine by Kristi Ling Spencer Creation and Platform Migration

I had the opportunity to help create and manage the digital magazine/email newsletter for KristiLingSpencer.com, a platform focused on empowering individuals and organizations through thoughtful content, resources, and coaching. My role involved working closely with Kristi to develop and execute an email strategy that would engage her audience, build relationships, and drive action, all while maintaining the personal and impactful tone that is central to her brand. When we met, Kristi's email list was old and stale. I helped clean and import the list into Mailchimp, where we collaborated on the design and layout of the emails to ensure they were visually appealing and aligned with her overall branding. After about 6 months, we pivoted to Kit (formerly ConvertKit) as our new newsletter platform to increase deliverability. I helped to segment and migrate Kristi's list to ensure a smooth transfer and to help re-engage subscribers who may have been missing the email deliveries prior to the migration, which resulted in a new average open rate of over 35% and a CTR of 4.2%. By analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and other key metrics, I worked to continually refine our approach and optimize the performance of each campaign. We tested different subject lines, calls to action, and content formats to see what resonated best with her community, ensuring that we were always delivering the highest-quality, most impactful content.
