My passion for improving UX in the medical space stems from research lab work I did in college on zebrafish heart regeneration. Grin helps orthodontists stay connected with their patients between visits through a mobile app and scanning device. I designed the Marketing Hub, which is a centralized webpage for partner practices to promote Grin and educate patients with ready-to-use visuals, templates, and videos (that I also created). In this case study, I analyze accessibility challenges at Colonist.io, an online board game platform, and propose user-centered solutions to enhance the experience for visually impaired and mobility-restricted players.
