Requirement Create a user friendly dashboard showing the week over week variance (WOW) of each communication mobile application with only "week 123" and the previous week of the assigned budget, the forecast and actual evolution data provided for this assignment challenge. Design Approach For a better understanding for the user I created a costume timeline visual with the percentage variance of each mobile app market performance to quickly compare them to one another in all three areas: budget, forecast and WOW evolution. Similarly clicking on the "Quick Comparison" button a cluster chart with this data was use for a more user friendly comparison. To accommodate other users who might want to quickly glance at the nominal values a bar chart highlighting the actual week and the previous was plotted.See More

Product Sales Performance Tracking

Requirement Develop a report targeted to middle level management to track sales performance and goals of their top products by categories, location and relevancy. The data available is captured in 4 different sales tables and one product goal table. Visuals need to be simple for quick comprehension to accommodate the fast pace environment but with sufficient actionable information at a glance and by extension reduce the amount of interaction (clicks) with the report to capture to the desired information. Design Approach A dashboard in Power BI Service will allow quick sharing between the team by embedding this report in to the company's existing intranet reducing the amount of Power BI Pro licensing required. Designing a two pager report with similar filters in both pages will be easier for the user to get use to the design language, these filters are there to slice and dice the data to lower the level of granularity. The landing page it's an overview of all key products and their coverage of the different markets/locations and the goals accomplishments. The second page it's a detail view of each product, segmented by category, with more information on it's performances and the amount of sales need to meet the set goal; in this page a supervisor (assigned by location) selection is available to measure their impact and effort in the overall product's goal.See More

Requirement Automate company's vehicle fleet request management Issues Vehicle Fleet Request Process: Employees fill out a physical form at the Logistics Operation Department to request a vehicle, checking availability and return time. Information Collection: Employees provide their current driver’s license, intended use, estimated return time, and number of passengers. Manual Record Keeping: The logistics supervisor records details such as vehicle defects, unit number, gas credit card issuance, requester’s name and department, current mileage, and departure time. Return Inspection: Upon return, the supervisor checks for defects, records mileage and arrival time, and retrieves the gas credit card and any other equipment. Approach Designed and implemented a business flow using Microsoft 365 applications, with the help of the automation between Teams, Power Automate, Excel and Power BI I was able to come up with a solution that shared internally that started checking the fleet's availability in SharePoint. Conclusion With the new process design, previously unstored and unanalyzed data is now properly managed. Vehicle fleet requests can be made and approved online via a computer or smartphone.
