Designing and Developing a Sonic Web Experience for Lucas Vidal

For this side project, I set out to design and develop an immersive music exploration site for the great Lucas Vidal. The goal was to push the boundaries of Webflow by going beyond visuals and experimenting with sound. I began with concept research, focusing on how to translate Lucas Vidal’s cinematic music style into an interactive digital experience. From there, I designed the full site in Figma, creating layouts and visual elements that incorporated audio interactivity, such as hover sounds and subtle sound-triggered effects. Once the design was finalized, I built the site in Webflow, carefully converting it into a responsive, pixel-perfect build. I layered in custom hover sounds, micro-interactions, and background audio to create a more immersive atmosphere, testing each element to make sure the experience was both engaging and seamless. Finally, I optimized the performance and responsiveness across devices, ensuring smooth playback without compromising speed. The result was an interactive music exploration site that blends design, sound, and technology—serving both as a tribute to Lucas Vidal’s artistry and a showcase of Webflow’s creative potential.See More
