No More Late Fees Podcast Launch

Overview: The No More Late Fees podcast follows two ex-Blockbuster employees and BFFs (Jackie & Danielle) as they relive the late 90’s and early 2000’s with their favorite movies. They provide nostalgia and hot takes on Y2K movies. The hosts rate movies based on their adolescent viewpoints and compare them to their current perception. The show gives them a chance to explore if a movie holds up to today's standards and has them question how much weight nostalgia carries for their overall rating. Goal: To launch a nostalgic movie podcast targeting 90s and 2000s movie lovers and grow its audience. Strategy: Leverage Personal Network and Social Media: Utilized existing connections and social media platforms (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram) to reach the target audience. Choose the Right Hosting Platform: Selected Spotify for Podcasters for its ease of use and wide reach. Focus on a Landing Page: Created a hero post landing page to guide listeners to preferred streaming platforms instead of building a full website. Secure High-Profile Guests: Used social media to attract influencers and actors from featured films, increasing podcast visibility.See More
