Description

Digital and Print Production Specialist for a 24 page annual report. This is a project-based freelance role estimated at 40 hours. The freelancer will support the final production of the 24 page annual report. The design team will provide finalized Adobe InDesign files, and the role will prepare print-ready production files and optimized digital assets for publishing on a digital publishing platform. Deliverables include press-ready print PDF files for the printer, packaged InDesign production files, and optimized digital assets ready for digital publishing platform implementation. Qualifications include strong experience in print production and prepress workflows, expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, experience preparing commercial print-ready files, and familiarity with digital publishing platforms or similar tools, with high attention to detail and strong production quality standards. Preferred experience includes annual report or editorial publication production and experience adapting print layouts for digital publishing platforms. Please include examples of print production or editorial work prepared for commercial printing or digital publication.

Responsibilities
Convert finalized InDesign layouts into press ready PDFs following printer specifications
Ensure correct bleeds, trims, crop marks, color profiles, and image resolution
Perform final preflight and quality control checks before print delivery
Package production files and maintain organized asset folders
Export and optimize assets for digital publishing platforms such as Foleon or Maglr
Ensure visual consistency between print and digital versions
Collaborate with the design team to resolve production or technical issues
