Description
An agency specializing in lifestyle brands is seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist & Content Creator to join the team on a contract basis. We work exclusively with hospitality clients (hotels and restaurants) across Texas, New Orleans, and California, and we're experiencing significant growth on the social media side of our business. This is a unique opportunity to work with a seasoned agency team and make a meaningful impact on high-profile hospitality accounts. You'll be responsible for developing creative social media strategies, producing short-form video content, managing day-to-day posting, and optimizing paid social campaigns. We're looking for someone with proven expertise in hospitality or lifestyle brands who understands what drives engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—and isn't afraid to push clients toward bold, creative strategies rather than simply executing their requests. You'll work closely with our Head of Digital (who manages analytics and paid strategy) and report directly to agency leadership. This is a contractor role with flexibility and opportunity to grow into client-facing responsibilities as you demonstrate expertise and understand our client relationships.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with hospitality client brands and business goals, with emphasis on creative differentiation and algorithm optimization
  • Create compelling short-form video content (reels, carousels) that drives engagement and tells client stories
  • Produce original content and edit client-sourced raw footage using CapCut and other editing tools
  • Write on-brand captions and manage posting schedules across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns via Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Manage ad budgets, audience targeting, A/B testing, and campaign optimization for maximum ROI
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics and provide insights to drive strategy improvements
  • Collaborate with agency team and mentor junior social media staff on strategy and creative best practices
  • Advise clients on emerging trends, platform algorithm changes, and competitive landscape
