A long-standing artist management firm based in New York is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to expand our client network. We represent top-tier hair and makeup artists, stylists, and manicurists who work with fashion brands, beauty companies, celebrities, photographers, directors, and production companies.
The role is part-time and project-based, focused on one-to-one prospecting and relationship building rather than outbound sales tactics. You'll identify and engage new clients—production companies, creative directors, brand managers, and photographers—who need our artists' services. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with creative services or advertising agency sales experience who understands the industry landscape, client timelines, and decision-making processes.
Since COVID, our business model has shifted toward higher volume bookings at varying rates, requiring us to expand our client base strategically. You'll work directly with prospects to build relationships and keep them engaged until they're ready to book our artists, at which point our in-house agents take over account management. This role offers flexibility for someone re-entering the workforce or seeking part-time work outside a traditional corporate environment.
